I received an advance review copy for free from Booksirens, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Honestly, my main critique of this book is that I just wanted more. I love an enemies to lovers slow burn and I think the book could have focused more solely on the relationship between Shasa and Mac with less distractions from Elsie's storyline. I felt a bit confused when we started focusing so much on Elsie within the book. I did love the heat between Shasa and Mac as well as his relationship with Shasa's daughter. I just wanted to see more heat and more emotional turmoil with the main characters. I still very much enjoyed the read and flew through it.

I liked the first book in the series a bit more than this one, but it was still fiesty and spicy just like I like it!
Dirty Together by Meghan March

This series is basically all smut, with very little plot. Normally, I'd expect to be all about that but I was just frustrated by this series.

I ended up buying the last two in this trilogy because I got the first one and it ended on a cliffhanger. Honestly, I felt all around annoyed by this trilogy, but yet I kept reading....

I could not connect to this story at all. It felt slow and was actually bored while reading it. I still finished it, but I liked the other Wedding Date stories more than this one.
Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams

I will absolutely keep reading these books. I loved the steam and was blown away at how much I loved a romance novel with a focus on the men. The writing did feel a little less polished and meaty (I literally can't think of another way to explain it right now), but the premise and storylines easily sucked me in and has me wanting to come back for more.
The Intimacy Experiment by Rosie Danan

As a recovering catholic, I had feeeeeelings while reading this book and all the religious discussions within it. I think that might be part of why I didn't love this one quite as much as The Roommate. However, I appreciate the way Rosie Danan handles all these heavy topics while still giving us the spice.
