My least favorite in the Modern Love series. The other two books felt very steamy and this one just didn't go there so I felt a bit disappointed.

I was truly over the moon for The Kiss Quotient, but just couldn't get there with this book. I'm still very much looking forward to the third in the series.

Okay, I did genuinely enjoy this but how did no one warn me that this is a fade-to-black romance? I listened to the audiobook while at work and was digging it so hard that I contemplated working late to keep going. The fade-to-black surprised me enough to douse a bit of water on the steamy fire that was building. In the end, I still really like the book and I realize many people prefer these type of romance novels I just prefer to know what I'm getting ahead of time.

The misogynistic characters in this book made it truly hard for me to like the overall piece. I know that was the actual point, but I just could not deal. I just was not feeling it and never connected with anyone. I was mostly bored and annoyed and frustrated.
