What to say about this novella...
I liked the overall idea, though Cyn was WAY more adventurous and trusting that I would be 🤣
I wish there was a better balance between Cyn's level of sunshine to Griffin's level of grumpy...it felt like she was a so sunshiny that I was annoyed 😅 especially since Griffin just seemed to be reacting normally for someone has lived a secluded life and just had a stranger enter it...
Another thing that kept throwing me off was the way Cyn mentioned how the town talked about Griffin...like he's an old urban legend...as in he should be old AF...so near the end when he finally mentions something about being in his late 30s I was relieved but also confused.

This one was okay...
Bothered me that the leading lady had been told by her doctor that she had partially blocked tubes so most likely couldn't get pregnant or it would be very difficult to get pregnant and then BAM a one night stand and a broken condom ends in not only being pregnant but with triplets?!
Gonna take a book or two away from this series before diving into book 3...I need a little palate cleanser.

Mention of: parental abandonment and neglect
The accidental pregnancy trope, especially partnered with the alphahole boss trope, doesn't always go well...but I loved how Nadia wrote it here.
I love that our leading lady, Amy, is intelligent and confident all on her own. Thanks to dual POV we also get to see that, although her boss seems like a dick, all the actions he takes, whether or not he should, are all there to help her grow and get to know her more.
From the moment they meet, though she doesn't realize it, Amy becomes a large part of Emmett's life...ahhh it's just cute how much of a cinnamon roll/golden retriever Emmett is when it comes to Amy!

Mention of: domestic abuse, parental abandonment, infidelity,
I was nervous to start this book because having a leading lady want revenge on an ex usually also includes her wanting to make him jealous and get him back and I'm just not about that haha So finding out that Abbie doesn't want her ex back she just wants him to realize what a prize he lost...just left me with a much better feeling.
The way that Abbie slowly looks back on her past relationship and realizing just how much she changed who she was to be what he needed/wanted was relatable. Seeing her realize the excuses she made to justify her ex's treatment of her and seeing that she is worthy and does deserve better 🤌🏽
This book is full of the best of besties and a sexy AF older man who is more than happy to show Abbie she deserves the world! 😭

This volume seemed a little all over the place...hopefully the next volume will smooth out all the elements that this one added in...

I LOVE the overall premise of the story though I feel like it could have been executed slightly better. This is one of those books that actually had me wishing it was longer so we could get more information about the couple as individuals...I feel like we barely breached the surface.
Originally I saw a summary of book 2, and finding out each book is about a different brother, I decided to dive into this series.
I look forward to reading about the twins and the women they fall for...and hopefully we'll get a book about their childhood bff...

Gah damn this is a spicy spicy manhwa.
Love how the two characters, almost from the start, care for each other and work hard against all obstacles trying to pull them apart.

Like many online manga/manhwa I did find this story to be longer than necessary...that being said I still adored it.
I always love when we have two people who are connected in so many ways like they were fated to fall for each other.

Interesting start to a series...didn't feel like it gave me enough though to care about any of the characters.
