Truly wholesome read. I read it digitally but will be buying the set to add to my shelf. Tackles topics that are not covered in media often. The clear representation is beautiful.

I went into this book blindly, not knowing what I was getting myself into. It has left me with a feeling of my gut being punched. I love that each chapter is a different point of view of the characters. It helps you connect with them and it really feels like the author took time to flesh out the characters too.

Forbidden love, and intense emotional stories! Touches heavily on topics that aren't spoken about enough in literature or in society in general.

Volume two of Berserk has exceeded my expectations. The author does a wonderful job leaving interesting cliffhangers before reading the next volume of the series.

Highly recommend.

Excuse my poor written review but I'm just starting to do reviews, I'll get better in time. I put spoilers tags because I couldn't do a review without explaining some bits.
Thank you for reading.

At first, I was intrigued with the story and going in blind into what the Manga was about, I loved the mystery behind the reason for Shino and her inability to say her name. After I read the part with Kayo slapping her and just the way the author dipicited harsh interaction between the two, had me a bit thrown a back.
Turned me off but however I kept reading until the end. It could have been better in my opinion, especially Kayo being the one Shino opened up too, Kayo was too harsh most the time or too impatient. Bullies? Understandable but we were shown Kayo not falling into the bully category, yet that's how I felt.
The ending felt extremely rushed, however, overall, the story is great and brings into light what the authors real message for the Manga is about but could have been executed just a bit more clear. </Spoiler>

Mizuno and Chayama is my first Yuri Manga I've read. I definitely enjoyed reading even though at times I gasped in heart ache for the one of the main characters.

This books contains triggers for those who have a hard time reading about heavy physical abuse, sexual a sault and heavy themes of surviving school, surviving bullies, surviving abusive and emotionally absent parents.

With all that negativity there's so much space invested in a love between two students, and their need for each other during these hard times. They find comfort in knowing that one day they could be together without the need to hide from their parents.

Now, I didn't get the impression that they were hiding because they are both girls but because both Mizuno and Chayamas family are rivals. They didn't want the families or anyone to know because that would cause more tension between both families and the public.
Highly recommend
