Sadly, this one did not meet my expectations. I did not finish the book since it did not grab my attention.

I received this book from the publishing company in exchange for my honest review.
There is nothing else I can tell you.

This is the story I was waiting for, and boy, did it delivered??? Of course it fucking did!

I am in love with the Russian!!! ~~

The story is messy and like the guys say, “the back story is always important”!

We get to see Vlad from a completely different lens and it’s a dream. The amount of tears this guy cried over Elena could fill up a river!

Vlad is hiding big secrets from the whole world, which to Vlad world = friends. The Bromance Bookclub are clueless to his private life and when the bomb drops… it drops without mercy.

1. His married life is a mess.
2. He is writing a romance novel
3. And the third one if for you to find out!

He is one of a kind. His soul is pure and he is so full of love!!!

Elena’s story is also incredible and at the end it shows you how important is to come clean. How good things can get if you’re just honest and if you’re willing to talk and take the risk.

So far I can say that my favorite bookclub members are Vlad and Mack. That is it.
Period.

This is the third installment of the Bromance Bookclub and while I loved the previous books, I didn’t feel like this one was as great as the other ones. I was expecting a lot for Noah’s love story. I was excited that Alexis was getting a second shot. That these two lovebirds were going to bring it on. It felt a little boring. While the bookclub was always in the back and the guys made an appearance, it didn’t have the same effect on me. The scenes with “The Russian” are the best. I laughed a lot whenever he was mentioned.

It is definitely still worth a shot.
I am hoping that “Isn’t it Bromantic?” Is way better.
Sorry I don’t have much to say about this one, it just didn’t made an impression.

Where to start?
I wanted to read this horror classic after watching the tv show adaptation on Netflix. I really enjoyed the show and had high hopes for the book. Being October and spooky season, I thought it would be great. Well… For the first time in my life I will say that the adaptation was better.

Dr. Montague sends personal letter to different people based on paranormal experiences that they supposedly have had. He wants to invite them to the infamous Hill House. He would like to study, with their help, the supernatural events that is said to happen in this house. The owners of the house have agreed to let the, stay as long as a member of the family stays with them. Two women agree to come to the house and serve as witnesses to help Dr. Montague with his studies. They will document and make notes of everything that happens and describe it to the best of their abilities. What surprises Hill House will have for them?

They have the back story of the house, that Dr. Montague reluctantly tells them on the first night. They have a few theories. They are skeptical. They doubt anything will really happen. As our character settle in, get comfortable, and get to know each other, odd things begin to happen. They do not happen right away and they definitely cannot explain how or why everything is happening. They most certainly laugh it out to seem brave but, one thing is for sure… No one is prepared for what awaits them at Hill House.

I have to say that while a big chunk of the story was enjoyable, the smaller chunk was annoying as hell. The amount of times that I rolled my eyes or closed the book… to be honest, I cannot even count them. Did I get the goosebumps that I was hoping for? Nope. Was this spooky in any level? Nope. Did it meet my expectations? Nope. Was the Netflix show better? Hell yeah!
