took me a while to get into but i really enjoyed reading it. it almost felt like i was hearing the story from someone. some of the scenes had me shook and whenever i picked it up it was hard to put it down.
cute lighthearted read for the holidays. the relationship between the two characters (and everyone in the town) was very cute to read. at some point it just got overly annoying that the fmc was just choosing to be blind instead of actually being blind to the behavior of the person in front of her and is telling her as direct as he could his feelings and everything. still, i enjoyed reading it and i want to continue the series!
for a short holiday read it’s perfect! i really liked it. in the holiday style i liked the swap and how different the two characters were. even though i felt like it suddenly changed up pace and was rushed by the end. and i would have liked to see more things resolved and talked about more, like bee’s parents, and the long distance relationships between the two couples but i still enjoyed it. ill definitely add it to my holiday reads.
entertaining, straightforward and fast paced! perfect for beginners in the genre or for people who read it once in a while. i thought the premise was good and it did deliver what i wanted. characters could’ve been less annoying but the only complaint i have is spoiler. i had a good time xx
really short and sweet story. i liked it very much. the characters were adorable and i loved the style of the drawing. will definitely think about rereading it during the fall season.
i really liked it. since they’re correspondents, the war is more at the background and we only get to see the casualties so i thought that was very interesting and unique. we don’t often see the other side of wars. iris and roman complement each other well and i love that they love each other. the fantasy didn’t feel too “complicated” and it was easy to follow.
