If you could go to the past, knowing there were strict rules and the possibility that you might become a ghost, would you? Such a thought provoking idea and read.

Finlay and Vero keep getting themselves into crazy situations. This one might be my least fav so far but still a fun read.

R.F. Kuang is amazing that she can write so well in multiple genres. For this story, Juniper is very unlikeable but that is what makes the story. The satire of problematic authors, social, media, etc walks the line between exaggeration and truth and is so good.

What a great book to start the year with. Thought provoking and one I will likely read again. Be sure to have tissues ready when reading the Epilogue. 😭

This is a wonderful story that could benefit from some editing. Parts dragged and at the end, seem unnecessary. This book could lose 100 pages and still be great.
