Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.
I just didn’t enjoy either povs and felt like the story was dragging on and on but nothing was actually happening. Also I felt a little dropped into this world with very little world building happening.

I was reluctant to start this “cozy fantasy” but decided to give it a shot because Sarah has written one of my fav series. I’m SO GLAD I gave this book a chance! While it was cozy and light hearted, it also kept me on the edge of my seat! The story was just as interesting as the characters and character development. A sentient, smart ass spider plant??? Yes please! Seriously, one of my favorite reads this year!
