Can't Go Back by Debra Webb
THAT TWIST THOUGHT, I DIDN'T SEE it coming, and I really loved it, it was unpredictable, especially after thinking that the case is closed, and they caught who did it, I must say that there were some sprinkles of hints from the begging, but it wasn't that obvious. I love it when you have to keep reading till the end to know the truth. it 100% was worth it.
I can't believe this is the last book of Devlin and Falco series, which means we won't be seeing them again, they will be missed for sure
Thank you for this crazy ride full with twists and mysteries.

“ But you still haven’t said you love me.”
“That’s not true.”
“You haven’t.”
“I say it all the time, I just say it very, very quietly. I tell you when you’re in another room, or right after we hang up the phone. I tell you when you’ve got headphones on. I say it after you shut the door behind you. I say it in my head every time you look at me.”

I usually read mystery novels, so the idea of reading a mystery novella was unsure and I was very skeptical to start In the Heart of the Fire by Dean Koontz because:
-I never read his work before.
-I never read mystery novella before.
But After this, I realized that you don't need to read big books to enjoy the mystery, and mystery and they works perfectly fine.
Overall, if you want to read a mystery book, but don't want to read a huge one, then try In the Heart of the Fire it was a fun, light and pleasant read

So many plot twists and I FREAKING loved them, like you'll never know when the next one will smack you in the face, my jaw hit the floor so many times while reading this book. It made me feel like I was the court with them. However, I had some troubles getting into it, because it's a legal thriller so it was complicated to me, but it's a very good read. I really enjoyed it.
