I love Lucy so much, but this one wasn't for me.  It's labeled as a why choose romance, but I couldn't figure out which characters she was going to end up with even more than 50% through.  I think I just lacked a major connection between any of the characters. I won't be finishing the series, but since I love Lucy I highly recommend Burn With Me which is a MF bully romance.

This mafia romance series is very high action and very mafia structure focus. I really enjoyed the book overall, but I would have loved to see little more romance.

There's an MC cross over???? I am SO excited you have no idea! I have read some YA books from Abbi Glines, so I was curious what her 'grown up' books would be like, and I was impressed!  The plot twist (insert mind blown emoji!) It was angsty, refreshing, and I now want a horse and a dark cowboy myself.  I love how possessive the MMC became after his initial alphahole era.  Also the groveling in this second book!  YESSSS! I can't wait to finish this series!

I loved this audiobook so much!  The narrators are some of my favorites, and I think they fit this 'role' perfectly.  I love mafia romances, but they're a dime a dozen so this step sibling aspect elevated it to something a little different for me.  He falls first... but is an alpha hole who won't show his feelings, so the angst and banter are everything! I saw some reviews where they didn't like the ending because it was unsatisfying, but I completely disagree!  The ending comes full circle on the one thing that would be the hardest thing for him to do giving the circumstances really showed his love and devotion for the FMC.

What to expect:
Mafia
Forced proximity
He falls first ... but is an alpha hole

For a debut novel, this one was amazing, and I feel great things coming for and from this author in the future! The banter and the humor was SPOT. ON. I laughed so hard and it made it in an easy read. It had dark romance meets romcom vibes and I am living in that era! The why choose dynamic was also perfect. I'm really picky when it comes to poly relationships that each person has an individual relationship with the FMC and each brings something different to the table. I felt like the character development for the men was amazing and the relationship dynamics were well established. I would say that there was some internal monologue that was either repetitive or not relevant to driving the story line, especially in the first 10% of the book, but for a first book it was a super solid read! Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to read your first baby Ivy!

What to expect:
Why choose?
MMFM
Dark romance with a lot of humor and banter
They fall first and hard

I am SO HAPPY to be back in this small town.  These cowboys always have me swooning and Honey Bee Ranch seems like a dream place to find four of the hottest ranchers around.  I love that Kendra Moreno does such a good job at balancing plot with some hella good spice.  There was plenty of action, humor, and filthy talk.  These men had me swooning.  There's a few very creative scenes in this book that will be living rent free in my head.  The books in this series are some of my favorite dark cowboy romances!
