For those who love a daddy.... this book is one hot age gap.  Forbidden, this age gap was a potential date's dad, and we get MAJOR daddy Dom vibes.  The spice was great, and the audiobook was good too.  This book has great curvy girl representation, and a cinnamon roll of a MMC. He's nothing but protective, jealous, and ooey gooey sweet on her.  This was a great pallet cleanser and an easy read if you want a spicy daddy.

I don't mind a slow burn, but this was over 400 pages of slow burn, and I think that's why I can't rate it higher.  I loved the overall angst, the story line, the characters, but areas of it dragged and their back and fourth game got a little old.  This MMC is what I love in an alphahole MMC.  There were several redeeming qualities about this book, but I can't get extra excited about it unfortantly.  The writing was well done as well.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 27%.
DNF'd @ 35% into the audiobook.  I love this author, and I highly suggest Sparrow by this author.  I just had a hard time connecting with the love interests in this book.  I think it was kind of like a love triangle or perhaps from the prologue a love after loss book.  Either way the by 35% the only thing that happened is she met one guy on vacation she instantly fell for.  She met anther guy by accident that was literally perfect, but she was still hung up on vacation guy.  I know from reading this author that there's probably some amazing plot twist, but I just couldn't stay invested long enough.

This is an extended epilogue essentially in the form of a novella.  It was an easy read, cute and heart felt.  The problem with all extended epilogues is that they're rather predictable and unoriginal.  They almost are always either marriage struggles or pregnancy struggles.  I loved this couple so much, so I did enjoy the read, but it wasn't necessarily necessary.
