While some of the writing prose are beautiful, its attempt at a stream of consciousness writing style failed. Too complicated and dragging, making me lose focus on the plot.

I’ve enjoyed this book even though the pacing were draggy and there were some chapters that wasn’t necessary especially when some chapters or plot lines that deserve more elaboration and emphasis was not prioritised. The writing style and choice of words used are superb. That ending was really satisfying for me even it was bittersweet. I’m amazed that the idea for this book started when the author was 15, just finishing her PMR exam.
