sally rooney can do no wrong and she did not disappoint with this novel <3 i loved how rooney included real life issues & topics into the characters lives too, it was really refreshing to see their perspectives on the world. and as always i love the way rooney describes every day living, her way with words is so comforting and makes me feel at home :”) especially after chapter 23 j was taken in and couldn’t put it down till the end

it was just beautiful, sad, frustrating, and human. it’s a piece of work that i will be thinking about for a long time. nothing about the story was perfect but that is what made it so real. rooney’s descriptions of rhe every day and mundane were also so poetic and delicate, i am in love with the way she writes the world.
