I enjoyed this very spicy, reverse haram variation of the Beauty and the Beast fairytale. I loved Rosalina and all the princes. I’m not normally a fan of the why choose trope. But I enjoyed it in this case. There were just times when I felt that it was too like Beauty and the Beast. And apart from there being four princes instead of one, it didn’t divert from the fairytale very much. I will be reading book 2!

I love Olivie Blake’s writing so much. It’s unique and enchanting. She is a genius and her stories are all so imaginative. This anthology of short stories was wonderful. There was only one story that I didn’t like as much as the others. With the perfect blend of wit and pathos. Olivie Blake remains one of my favourite authors. I will literally devour anything she publishes.

This was a very easy book to like. Flo and Renée were lovable and their antics amusing. I enjoyed the book being about their friendship and their personal journeys. Rather than about a man! A book devoted to the friendships that make you a better person.

This book was absolutely amazing. I’m fast becoming a huge Jodi Picoult fan. The writing between the two authors was seamless and wonderful. Capturing the heart and soul of these characters. An amazing plot too. With plenty of twists. Fabulous.

I’m so disappointed. I’ve loved everything I’ve read by Matt Haig. He writes beautifully and captures human emotions perfectly. But this book was just too out there for me. It was also too earnest and worthy. Without any shred of humour. I didn’t really care about the main character. And though Joanna Lumley was a fab narrator, she just couldn’t make this book better for me. Matt Haig says it’s the book that is most personal to him. And I’m sad that I didn’t love it.

This was my first Liane Moriarty book and it was fantastic. I loved her writing style and felt drawn in to the compelling writing and story from the very first page. Just such a fab book about fate, destiny and life. Wow!

I really enjoyed this fantasy. The characters were morally grey and I was here for that. Allegiances and loyalties switched swiftly and the last 100 pages were full of revelations. A compelling, unique and action-filled fantasy that was fab. I can’t wait for book two.

I really enjoyed this spicy fantasy. I loved the premise of the book. But some twists I did see coming a mile off. Others were quite unexpected. I adored Graves. He gave me proper Rhys from ACOTAR vibes. I’m excited for book two.

This was a low stakes cosy historical fantasy with a spicy romance and I loved it. Luca and Matti are adorable characters and their relationship is the cutest. They are so different but are brilliant together. Such a fab book.

An absolutely beautiful book. The writing was stunning and I adored the way the characters were built up over the years and the multiple points of view. A tale of sisters and family. But ultimately love.
