Clearly written by a straight woman because the characters are unrealistic. Besides, it is just the YA equivalent to Fifty Shades of Gray or After: it has a boring, unbelievable narrator; a contrived romance; and it is clearly fanfiction of a pre-existing YA series/interest (HP).
