Really great read, Brown does a great job researching and referencing what her critics say, while blending story with history. Def will be reading more of her works.

Candy is a cold blooded killer and it’s sad that we’ll never be able to get Betty’s side of the story. From how much planning went into Candy’s affair I wouldn’t be surprised if that also went into Betty’s murder because she lied so much after everything took place. The authors seem to lean towards defending Candy, but I was engaged in the writing style until the end of the book (thus my 3 stars).
