This short story actually made me appreciate the Walcott twins, but I still think they have too much page time.

I really loved this adaptation and I really appreciated Anne and Diana as a ship, however, I do wish that Gilbert was more fleshed out as a character. He doesn't need to be completely cast aside for the queer relationship to work.

This series is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Necessary read before this book: The Road to Oz
I don't really feel emotionally affected when characters die though??? Idk why that is

The trial at the end was interesting but this book was perhaps too focused on expanding the Oz-verse

I genuinely don't know if I'll ever be the same again after reading this book. Antsy's fight for fairness goes far beyond that of a nine-year-old's understanding but that's the point, I suppose, and the group's understanding of if and when they should return to their worlds and not taking advantage of Antsy was so important to me. I wish we could get a short story from Seraphina to understand her better. After following Cora so long and knowing her so deeply, my heart literally hurts knowing we probably won't see her again. I also wish her and Kade weren't such cowards.
