I think the most heartbreaking part of this bokk is that when i first read, I neverbnoticed that Teddy never spoke. He seemed so alive and present in the other characters' stories that I didn't feel his absence. Listening to the audiobook, in which he has a voice but still no direct liness, and knowing his fate is so much worse.

I should remove a star just because of how long it took for me to read but I can't. By removing the most dynamic character from the main narrative, Olivie Blake made this novel harder to get through, but the fact that she knew which character was the most dynamic and worked with the consequences of removing her shows how powerful a writer she really is. Also, the ending is fucking amazing and everything I hoped for.

i'm confused how no one knew Wayne's daughter and wife had died in a small everybody knows everyones business town  and also Arthur was lowkey a villain
I feel like Emily Henry's early work is a little bit try hard philosophical. It worked in A Million Junes for me but not in this one.
I think my main gripe with this book is that it shouldn't have had such a "happy" ending.
