This was beautiful in every way possible, from the writing to the characters to the pacing. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this book from the first page to the acknowledgment (the fact that this book was never meant to exist makes me glad fate interfered).

I can’t wait to read more books by Tori Bovalino.

P.s. Petition to make a sub-genre called “cottage gore” (cottage core + gore) PLEASE BECAUSE THIS WAS SO GOOD

Very original, great pacing but sadly very predictable (even though I’m SO bad at predicting books). It was enjoyable and fun nonetheless.

(Taylor Adams please don’t come for me)

Another good book that just needed editing.

This is was such an original concept, it was fun it the beginning but the scenes were too long, so many unnecessary details that doesn’t add to the story in any way. I really had high hopes for this one but it sadly disappointed.

The ending pissed me off so much I almost started to hyperventilate.

“I’m muscle and scars blended with scripts and swirls of black ink.”
“I’m too psycho even for him”

This was sadly cringy and long for no reason, and the time jumping made it even worse. I’m so tired of authors writing weak female serial killers LIKE WHYYYY, Sloane had so much potential, I loved her MO but it was sadly wasted.
The only reason that made me continue to read is because I’m excited for Leather & Lark.
