A linguistic and cultural Atlas of Central Appalachia and the mind of Jonathan Williams. Constant references to the interaction between human and nonhuman nature and how our languages and arts get tied up into landscapes just as easily as a sunrise or a bug. Jonathan Williams is a major aesthetic and professional inspiration of mine. 

Also some really interesting early meditations on Appalachian queerness and the ways in which sexual and gender nonconformity are mediated and understood by people in rural areas.
