Very, very enjoyable. Would definitely read again. a couple editing, and repetitive language things that impacted my reading experience toward the end.

I found the characters really annoying. The main character spent the entire book wading in self-pity and second guessing herself despite somehow being incredibly competent. The romance itself seemed to have no chemistry, buoyed only by the main character's desperate desire to be in the perfect relationship.

An interesting book that follows the inner monologue of a serial killer. I thought the monologue was expertly done with a great balance between disturbing and mundane. The cool calculation of the main character was chilling.
I appreciated the deterioration of self control we witnessed. We see the main character’s drive for increasingly public and satisfying attacks increase while still rationalizing her actions as consistently safe and minimally risky. I thought it was an interesting choice by the author to make the main character choose to target people who are “morally bad” while showing her to be equally unable to fully understand the degrees of bad. A very enjoyable read. The only thing I’d hoped to see more of was the thought process behind picking target with a bit more detail.
