A great resource for teachers who want their students doing more of the talking and thinking.

Audiobook review. I love this concept of using your money while you’re alive - doing the things you want to do, making memories with your kids, giving to charities now rather than later, and giving to your kids when they are younger and more likely to need it. Highly recommended (and I heard about it through the YNAB YouTube).

Audiobook review. This was a fascinating book and I learned so many interesting things. Listening was probably not the best medium, as it is dense and I surely missed a bunch of things, but I still enjoyed it.

Audiobook review. Just another book I loved. It’s such a great story about family and friends and sisters. My kind of book.

This is a short book, so a quick 3 night read. As a math educator, I hope this book sparks anew conversations about how we do high school math and how we could do it for everyone. I love the ideas of identity and tinkering and cross-cutting in this book.

Audiobook review. This took me a while to get into. I had to keep playing the beginning chapters over and over to follow the plot (non-American accented narrators are not always easy for me to follow). It did enjoy it once I could follow the plot and track the characters, but it felt a bit forced.

Audiobook book. I enjoyed this book, as someone who considers herself a millennial. I loved reminiscing with the author about all the wacky games and shows and toys marketed to young girls in the 90’s. It was wild! And she had some explicit TS references, but also some deep cuts that I appreciated. IFKYK.

Audiobook review. I enjoyed this book and the premise was fun. The cheesiness was appropriate for what the author set out to do. All around, enjoyable.

Audiobook review. I enjoyed this book, mostly about what family means and honesty in families. It was sad but also heartwarming.
