Audiobook review. I loved this book. It really wrestles with motherhood and what it means to decide to be a mother. I sobbed reading it. It was beautiful.

Maybe my favorite of the series. What a journey! And more friends for the wild robot. I loved reading this aloud.

Somehow, while this book follows many of the tropes, there are still surprises. I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this one more than the first. It’s just less sad. Another great book about kindness and family that I enjoyed reading aloud.

This is a great book, however most of it was familiar to me having read many other math education books. If you have dug Rob “5 Practices in Practice,” you likely know a lot of this. There fostering, building, and reflecting chapters have some good ideas about creating a culture that is okay with working hard in math.
