I disliked the first 300 pages, but was blown away by the last 100. I'm not sure it would ever be something I'd read again but I really respect how immersive and rounded the characters are - it's almost disturbing how lifelike they are

Really enjoyed this one! This is obviously a reread but it was interesting noting the differences between it and the film

I enjoyed the horror aspects of this - whilst it is a bit complicated at times, you're kinda there for the gore. It's a cross between othello, romeo & Juliet, and saw

Quite enjoyed it - more than I thought I would. I enjoyed considering the feminist connotations of the book and what would have happened if the genders were reversed.

A really quick read. Used for uni. Enjoyed the lighthearted humour about it and how it got to the point quickly

It was just quite standard and I feel very neutral about it. That being said, I disliked the final scene and thought it was quite cringe.

This is a reread. Honestly it's one of my least favourite of the series because the events are a bit longwinded to solve the mystery. Loved the twist with Percy though.

2nd reread. Enjoyed it, but it just didn't live up to the hype. I think the film did this book justice.

Really quite enjoyed this one so I'm not sure if I can verbalise why it is not a 4 star read. I just think for a comedy it's quite sad from the female perspective and I'm not sure I want to encourage that? Additionally, I didn't enjoy the acting scenes as much as the rest of it. Regardless, I love the themes of the play and you can tell it really is iconic.
