I will say I started this book then ended up putting it down for about 45% in as a lot of the reviews have mentioned it was a never-ending circle of fighting and then having sex. Of course if that's what I had gotten the book for I wouldn't have minded but I was hoping for so much more plot and character development. However, that being said I did pick it back up a few months later because I was curious and invested enough to finish it and I will say the last 30-40% was better I felt the story actually picked up and progressed enough that I am anxiously awaiting the 3rd book and of course hoping for a better read throughout the whole book rather than the last part.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This made for a great beginning to a series. It was easy to love our FMC even though she drove me absolutely crazy sometimes with her why me thoughts. The story was captivating though a little forseeable with the clues that were dropped throughout the story. all in all I will continue this series.
