What a delicious treat!
The foreshadowing, the references to the later books were beyond perfection. It just hits different after reading the trilogy.
This is where it all began.
This is when Pippa decided to do her project on the Sal Singh case.
Too good!

Holly shit (geddit?) this was one of best mysteries I've ever read. Binged it in 2 days.
Sal has my entire (broken) heart.
I loved the characters, the twists and the ending.

The book had so much more to offer than just the romance part and I really enjoyed that.
PERSONALLY, wasn't the biggest fan of the romance trope or the ending but overall a great book.

I ADORE Wallace, Hugo, Mei, Nelson and Apollo. I would re-read this book again and again for them.
Them, and the magical and reflective plot.

This book was about a robot and a tea-serving monk with existential crisis? And I could somehow relate to them both?
This is my new favourite book of all time which I will never stop recommending.
It was comforting, cozy, reflective af, philosophical, funny and wholesome. I sobbed multiple times in the book even though the book IS NOT sad.
Read this book if you need a hug.
