Abso-fucking-lutely not.

The male MC is a childish baby who didn't use his brain for half the book, and the female MC has NO SELF RESPECT, IT'S INSANE. Like how does this girl like him WHEN HE LITERRALY SAID VERBATIM (spoilers btw)

what is this whole James and Wendy SHARING A SIBLING?!!!??? That's too weird for me, I'm sorry but fuck no.

I really enjoyed this book (reread though, so we already knew this). This was my first read of Lord of Shadows after reading the entirety of The Last Hours, and all the little references to TLH and TID, and even TMI to some extent, were really fun to read.

Also, Zara Dearborn is a fucking bitch ass loser, and the most infuriating person I have ever read EVER, which really says something about Clare's ability to write characters. I have never had so many conflicting feelings about a character before as with Annabel Blackthorn.

I really enjoyed this book. The juxtaposition between the contemporary teenageryness and the mythological aspect was really interesting. The concept of the story was great too. Many thumbs ups.

Literally just stockholm syndrome, not a fan.

This book would be so much shorter if Aria just stopped crying and had A SLIVER of a survival instinct. Unbelievable.
