I was so excited when I saw Scoring Grey would give us Eloise and Callum’s story because I had so many questions in Rewriting Grey. Talk about a love that stands the test of time, Eloise and Callum had it even when they moved away from one another the love never diminished. I didn’t expect all the twists in why they weren’t together and I wasn’t prepared for all the family secrets. I was so emotionally involved with how this love story played out, I almost missed school pickup. I loved how Callum was always all in when it came to Eloise and he was determined to wait as long as she needed. Eloise loved Callum so much that she stayed away from him in order to keep him safe. There are so many things I want to scream about but I don’t want to give away the best parts of Scoring Grey. I absolutely loved every second I spend reading this book, 5-stars.

Shades of Power was my first faerie fantasy book and I loved it. The world building was so amazing, I could picture everything in my mind so clearly. I especially loved how all the Faeries spend 2 years living in the human world to learn how to better protect them. I also really liked how each shade of magic corresponded to their unique gifts. Opal was our FMC and she never developed her Shade, and she was worried what that meant for her future. We have 2 MMC’s, Farris a human that frequented the coffee shops CAFFEINE that the faeries ran and we have Edmyn Prince of the Night Court. Both these guys have things that make Opal interested in them (and yes they were both hot). There are so many details I want to scream about but I don’t want to ruin the discovery of them while reading. If you are looking for a captivating fantasy read with love, action, heartbreak and some spice sprinkled in, then pick up Shades of Power and get ready for a ride.

When Blakely and her bestie Ella plan to go to Vegas to celebrate her 30th birthday, she didn’t expect her brother Brock and his crazy hot BFF Renn to crash the party. Blakely and Renn spend the night drinking and having a bit too much fun after parting ways with Ella and Brock. When they wake up, guess who’s got a tattoo and is married?!?! John Lane and Avery Caris were amazing narrators that brought the book to life. I laughed and I cried then I laughed some more. The close relationship that Renn had with his siblings and mom was heartwarming. The best part was the banter between Blakely and Renn, it went from playful to flirty to scorching hot! I was rooting for Blakely and Renn from the beginning and watching the way things played out had been squealing. I’m here for The Brewer Family Series, I need to start book 2 immediately.

Ohh how I loved The Charlie Method, it had everything I was craving and more. Charlotte had two sides to her, one was the Delta Pi sister, super smart innocent student and over all perfectionist who had a method to figuring out her moves. The flip side of the coin we had sex loving, car racing girl who would find hook ups on apps. First off I absolutely loved that Charlie knew what she was wanted from guys and took it, no strings attached. Beckett and Will were teammates as well as best friends, best friends that liked to share girls. When Charlie saw a profile on a good up app with 2 guys instead of just one she was intrigued in the thought of being shared. This book has lots of spice that was just so yummy and it also had a really great story line for each of the 3 main characters. When I say I devoured this book, I mean I stayed up until 3am to finish because I couldn’t put it down.
Oh and who would want to read the completed book of The Virgin and The Blade? It me, I want to!!

So I saw the tropes on What I Should’ve Said, and thought, you know what, I could use an emotional enemies to lovers book. But man I was not prepared to be so emotional invested in to Norah, Bennett and Summers lives. And did I expect to be crying like a baby? NO! But I was. And I would do it all over again. What I Should’ve Said was a beautiful book that broke you down emotionally but then built you back up. Bennett is grumpy and doesn’t have time for anything except his wonderfully amazing daughter Summer. Summer is an adorable 7 year old who is very sick but even though her pain is a ray of sunshine. When Norah comes to Red Bridge after running out on her wedding she didn’t expect to irritate the grouchy Bennett from the first meeting but she did. There was a pull between these two that he fought so damn hard until he just couldn’t anymore. The amazing friendship that Norah and Summer shared was amazing. Taylor Swift and the color pink will always bring the girlies together. I loved every second of this book, 5-stars.

I have devoured every single book in The Davenports series and when I saw The Reluctant Wife was Ryot’s book I was beyond excited. He’s been so angry in the previous books and to see what made him feel that way was surprising. The meet cute between Ryot and Aurelia was so “knight in shining armor” when he saved her some from creepy guy at a bar. When she pretended that he’s her husband and they shared a hot smooch the chemistry was off the charts, it helped he’s incredibly hot. And when he ends up being her personal bodyguard, be ready for the spicy tension. The Reluctant Wife has a great plot, amazing characters, a bit of mystery, action and delicious spice. Another 5-star book from L. Steele.

I’ve loved every book in The Oakmount Elite series and The Misfit was by far the most emotional for me. I absolutely loved the OCD, ADHD and anxiety rep that our MC Lee and FMC Salem gave us. I was curious about Lee since book 1, and now learning his heartbreaking backstory had me shedding a ridiculous amount of tears. Salem, was just as hurt and broken as Lee but found ways to live again through patterns. These two both saw to the core of the other without all the BS. No judgement just understanding and compassion. Did Lee do things he shouldn’t have to get Salem to fake date him? He sure did. But did he do it so he could protect her and get what he needed to? Yup. You will feel all the emotions in this book, but you will love every second.

Having a super hot male roommate ✅
Deciding you need to hook up with said roommate ✅
Roommate rocking your world ✅
Late period ✅
Oh how I love the Morelli sister and in There Are No Words we get to follow Allegra Morelli. She’s the social media manager and social event coordinator for Bellissima and she also has a smoking hot roommate Brady. Brady runs his own bar called the Black Sheep (which I love) and he’s been secretly pining for Allegra since he moved in with her. When she decides that she wants a piece of Brady, Brady is more than happy to give her everything she wants. Watching Brady prove with actions that he’s the guy for her made me swoon. But Allegra is stubborn and doesn’t want to trust that this relationship can more than a hook up. This is an incredible love story and I love the family secret that was uncovered as well. Now out of the 3 Morelli sisters book, There Are No Words is by far the spiciest, and I’m here for it!

Promiscuous Lies had me a panting mess from the first few chapters. Posie is a single mom who dances a few times a week to put food on the table. She loves her son Bentley more than life itself and it shows. When she meets her boss Dutton for the first time she’s not impressed, yeah he’s hot but he’s an A-hole. Dutton runs several high end invite only gentlemen’s clubs, including Pearl where Posie works. The vibe is definitely enemies to lovers but our hottie Dutton falls first. He is so used to getting exactly what he wants that when Poise repeatedly tells him “No”, he’s a goner. There’s lots of delicious spice and the plot is just as amazing. There’s just something about a dangerous man who knows his way around a knife, am I right? Another 5-star book from T.L. Smith and Kia Carrington-Russel.

Solving Lara had me hooked, it’s a Murder Mystery weekend with Doms and Subs paired up to solve the murder. And oh my gosh is the spicy top tier, Lara loves the punishment and pain that her Dom Camden gives her. I really enjoyed the mystery and detective work mixed with all the spice. Lara is 45, which I loved that she wasn’t super young like most books. This is kinda a kinky love story and I’m here for it.
