As a lesbian I found this book so interesting due to how hard it is to escape male influence in sapphic dynamics. I liked this, and will say this is the most sexual a book can be without being classified as smut. I wasn’t horny reading this, just sad.

This book was spectacularly done. I felt so connected to the characters, especially Lucky, and just really loved the way this explored so many different emotions

I saw the movie before reading this, but the book was so so different and good! I really loved everything in this (except maybe how much Stephen King uses the N-word)

I am still crying over the ending as I write this, but this was a master class in world building and just writing in general. An actually perfect book, and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series
