Pretty much what I was looking for in a Canadian historical fiction mystery experience. Passes my high school understanding of historical accuracy for the period and place, lots of interesting characters to follow around with an extra bitter cold winter to background it all.

Short stories, in comic form. Really good, remind me a little of Sandman? A little bit stylistically, all the dark tones, and some of the whimsicalness
