This book was quite average in comparison to the first two. It did have a lot of action but it was also very predictable.

This book was amazing. I enjoyed every second of it. I loved how it examined the grey area between good and bad.

This was a reread for me. Like with the first time, it took me a little while to get into it. It actually picked up at the exact same spot. At first I wondered why I enjoyed it so much that first time around and then the ball started rolling. I seem to have a thing for books about political intrigue. I loved Mare as a character and the two princes. Even though I knew it was coming, the betrayal still hurt and shocked me. I can’t wait to get to the next book. I remember loving it. I definitely want to finish the series this time around.

This book was my favourite one in the series. It was action packed, a lot of big things happened and some of my questions from the previous books got answered. I can’t wait to pick up the next one.

This book was the perfect conclusion to the Land of Elyon series. I will miss adventuring with Alexa and Yipes.

This was the perfect end to the series. There was so much action in this book and everything got wrapped up nicely.

I loved this book. It had so much action. I was introduced to two new characters who were both such interesting people. I love how these books have such morally grey characters instead of perfect people who are either completely bad or completely good. It makes for an interesting and compelling story. I kind of hope VE Schwab writes another book in this world.

I was completely shocked by this book. I honestly wasn’t into it at first, but once we arrived at the Amber City, things really started to take off. The descriptions were lyrical and beautiful. I enjoyed the political intrigue so much. And the characters were great. I was never sure of who I could trust and that made the twists more exciting. I did figure one twist out, but it was still amazing.
