Brigid Kemmerer does it again!!!! I love her characters so much!!! They’re as layered and tortured as ever, and it’s genuinely refreshing to have a female character with such kindness, selflessness, strength, and heart. The fact that she’s not some feminist statement, but feels deep pain over harsh life circumstances, and that she cries over that pain in the book, I couldn’t love her more.
The brothers are outstanding, and I can’t wait to read more with Quint and the unfolding political drama!!!
Another exquisite gift from Brigid!! Buy and read now!!

The angst honestly drug out more than necessary for me, but it was still fun.
