Cute, some weird flaws in the story, but overall cute characters!

I just can't say enough good things about this book. The writing is beautiful and the subject handled with skill. Yes, it has a sad ending, but parts of the book that could have been horrifying are treated with the skill of great writing - you get the meaning, but without having to draw a horrible picture. I was skeptical about having it narrated by the devil, but that is really the cornerstone to this fabulous book.

Really good book - well written and a page turner!

Love the characters - I'm passing this on to my 13 year old. It would mark the first time we both like the first book that I recommend (she's passed her books on to me before).
