Maxim Kade is the ultimate Alpha. Jesus. All those other guys come off as forceful assholes, he someone comes off as a charmer. And that cliffhanger? Killing me.

So this book is gorgeous and funny and heartbreaking. And I had completely forgotten Sony Vaio existed, which is totally not the point, but you should absolutely read this book.

Read in my alpha research quest. I guessed the twist from the opening scene, which is fine, but I still have such a love/hate relationship with the way so many alphas are written, and the amount of justifying that the heroine does for the hero turned my stomach a few times. Way too close to dangerous and destructive behavior for me. But, I'm still interested in the resolution.

I loved the second installment of this series. I couldn't put it down!
