I love this collection so deeply. Claudia Cortese's language is so enticing and visceral, and Lucy is such a vibrant character. It's so easy to get lost in Lucy's world, with its colors and smells and sounds. It's a sensory masterpiece.

This isn't poetry. There's nothing to work for here. Poetry is about using language in a new way, about finding inner worlds within what's printed on a page. This isn't it. There are so many poets doing what Rupi attempts to do in ways that are so much more amazing.
