I honestly didn't enjoy this as much as I did Cultish. It was just okay for me.

Have you ever gone into a book and thought "this premise is gonna get old quick."? Well, this DIDN'T. I was actually so involved, and emotionally invested. I almost cried relating to her. This book is great. Highly recommend 🤌🏻

I waited way too long to read this. I love epistolary writing and he does it SO WELL! I loved it

No. This was staccato, lacked character building, and didn't have any feeling to it. It was like reading a medical report. The premise was interesting but it was so flat. 

This was so interesting. If you enjoy understanding how language can be used and weaponized you'll like this book. 

I have no idea what just happened...but it was awesome

Didn't love this. Freida normally hits for me, but the last two I've read just didn't do it for me. This one felt more predictable and had less of her surprises that I love her books for. 

Essential reading for anyone who wants to understand the current world we live in, and wants a book that is very accessible. Highly recommend 

A solid meh. Not a bad premise but the way it got there made me want to throw the book at least three times 😐
