I had no idea what to expect from this book. it is SO GOOD. Gothic mansion ✅ mysterious inheritance ✅ suspicious circumstances ✅ fast pace ✅ phenomenal writing ✅ 
I need more! 

Not my favorite of McFadden so far. This was mid. It was good enough to finish, but I wouldn't recommend it or rave about it. 

She did it again. My hell, this was amazing. T.J. has a talent for writing charactera and stories that immerse you into the story and make you feel like it is actually happening. Sucks for my anxiety, bc she writes disaster thrillers 😂 I will always be in first in line for her books.

Short but fascinating. This book gets into your brain and mixed up all your feelings and thoughts and leaves you staring into the void. I'm agnostic and still feel absolutely astonished at the level of depth in such a short book
