I expected it to be more of a comedy. I slogged through it to the end.

Loved it. Very fascinating story of an escaped slave and his journey to find freedom in the deep south.

Pretty good. Liked it enough to check out the next two in the series, anyway! I like the main character so far.

Loved it! I could relate to so much in this book, having watched 3 of my girls so far all be enamored of the Princess craze.

Ok, took a bit to get into it. A somewhat romantic ghost story, but not really my cup of tea. I did like learning about the history.

Very dry, not really that interesting unless you want to know when every.single.Carpenter.song was recorded. And where. And with what session musicians.

I hoped there would be more about Karen, but the author didn't really get into her and her issues until the last 1/4 of the book.

So, so predictable. I like the Mike Bennett character, as well as the NYC locations, but the plot was thin and not very heart-stopping.

Nice follow-up to the first in the series.

I enjoyed this. Definitely chick lit but not terrible at all. Liked it enough to check out the other ones in the series. She's a little flowery, and it was predictable, but it was good.
