good thing about this book is Aza’s mental health rep, but other than that it didn’t leave a lasting impression on me.

love seeing their relationship develop, now I got buy more volumes (and watch the anime)

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this. It’s very well written. However the more I kept reading, the less and less I cared about these characters (I get they’re supposed to be unlikeable) 

Overall: good but not great

I enjoyed it! A gruesome & gothic fantasy horror. Not very plot driven so I found it a bit slow at times. 

I’ll probably read more from Reid

I needed something less stressful & low stakes and this book did everything it set out to do. Would recommend if you’re in the need for a cozy fantasy

I am NOT okay

frustrating but in the best way possible, I have to keep reading to stay sane
