At the beginning I wasn’t so sure if the story itself would be better due that previous this I had read November 9 and I had not enjoyed it at all, but reading a few pages in. I already felt that this book is way better then the previous one.

Page 86 Thoughts - I am shocked that Miles has gone trough six years without having sex. Not going to lie some scenes where cringy, and fafic trope to me. Like I read to much fanfiction to save my life, but seeing this is just.....ehhh

Page 197 Thoughts - Favrioute character so far is Cap, that joke in 197 is just precious, also not going the lie the relationship between them is a little fucker up, like I am still wanting to know what is happening with Miles trough out Tate chapters, even if we are getting his pov about six years ago, but at the same time I am like why are you acting that way. Why you breaking Tate heart and ours at the same time!

Page 221 - The line where he says "Mikel" he says. "People always mispronounce it an say Michael,' though. Gets annoying." - and I did not just read Mikel as Michael I feel ashamed of myself, I feel called out

This book keeps twisting, crushing my heart each turn page that I really don’t wonna know the ending of the book itself what it is. Also I might give it a 4 stars, some of the scenes are just eh okey I guess. I feel half of the time the book itself is super rushed.

Page 314 tought - CAP DESERVED THAT FLIGHT!!! NOW I KNOW THIS WILL BE A BEAUTIFUL SCNEE BUT PLS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT DIE.

The rest - rip my heart out shove it to the ground, pick it up again and put it back into my chest, this book is so worth a read, and almost cry worthy for me.

Have read it, had almost dnf'ed it I had enjoyed the narrative and how everything flowed and the banter between the characters, which felt natural that I did not think for a moment that there weren't real people just having a normal conversation, but I felt half of the time confused reading it. The part where it put me off is when in the first part where it changed from the mother writing to her daughter to some sort of Alien scene.

And I got reminded why I don't much enjoy reading Science Fiction anymore. Or maybe I did not fully understand it myself or simply I don't like reading where Aliens are involved.

This was not my sort of read.

It’s good to be back to reading the second book, I had really loved reading the first one and I just hope this is good as the first one. And reflecting on it, I can not say this series give me huge Assassins Creed vibes. Not that I am complaining mind you. I love Assassins Creed even if I stopped playing it ages ago.

I had also skipped the Character somewhat list, because I am like I still recall who these people are in my head. But it is nice to know there is some sort of re-cap in it.

Page 8 thoughts - Little did they know - they in danger.

Page 100 thoughts - So far the story is okey ish, alto half of the time it confuses me, when we delv into the past to know what is happening. I still am enjoying the assassin and spy vibes of the story. Yet I do not see this book as a fast pace, but more like a medium pace book.

Alto I feel like this book is some sort of going trough the same thing as book 1 same kind of scenario but in different location.

Page 210 thoughts - So another 100 pages in and the book itself is still going in strong. Nothing had put me in a slump, and the book itself often then not picks up the pace for medium to fast real quick. The action scenes are written well.

Mister Kindly and Eclipse are my two favorite characters and my favorite banter between the two.
