The Atlantis Gene by A.G. Riddle
3.0
This book combined interesting, but not commonly know, historical and science facts, along with fictions in those areas, to create an intriguing story. Published in 2013, there is something that happens, beginning in China, that appears to be a eerie portent of events of the real world in 2020.
Most of the science fiction is quite believable, but a few are just a bit much. The story within the story was one of the best parts of the book. I would have rated higher, but there was just a little too much jumping around, and the book needed some tightening up, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

For one that was a need/geek in high school in the '80s, this was a nostalgic trip with high adventure and action. With a good dose of camaraderie and a love story mixed in.
Along with touching moments this is guaranteed to give you a nerdgasm!

This was for the BBC Radio show production version. Very enjoyable with the full cast and great voice actors.
