History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

I don't know... Griffin was a bit too whiny with his 'end game'. Couldn't get into it. Not a big fan of sad YA contemporary so might be me.
Forever Too Far by Abbi Glines

maybe more a 3.5? It's always kind of sad when next books in a series are kind of like a do-over of the earlier books. It's still fun, but we've been here before.
The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

This was really different than I thought it would be. In a good way! Don is adorable and the ending was perfect even though it's a little predictable. I'm curious to see what happens in the second book since this could just as well be a perfect standalone.
Glazuur by Lisette Jonkman

The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

More like a 3.5? It was a bit too much insta-love. I did however liked the characters very much as well as the story and how it ended.
Never Too Far by Abbi Glines

Sadly not as good as the first one. The same thing kept happening, just with a little different circumstances everytime. I still enjoyed the story and liked the characters. I love Blaire and Rush, but also think Woods, Grant and Bethy are very fun. The plot isn't great but it's a fun read.
Secrets and Lies by Kody Keplinger
5.0
This novella was just like the books Kody writes. I really liked coming back to the same characters you get to know in The DUFF and A Midsummer's Nightmare. These two are my favourites of Kepling so that works out perfectly for me. If you need something easy, quick and cute this is defenitely the way to go.
Lying Out Loud by Kody Keplinger

I read almost all of Kody Keplinger her books and even though most of her books have the same kind of format I still really enjoy them. She has such a fun way of writing about relationships and banter. I didn't like this one as much as A Midsummer's Nightmare or The Duff. Sonny isn't a very likable narrator which got on my nerves (Kind of like Lissa in Shut Out). I did however enjoy the story very much. I like how Kody Keplinger always adds a subplot to her contemporary books.
Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire

I really liked the premise of the story. Children coming back from their fantasy world like Alice coming back from Wonderland? Sounds interesting. But this story isn't so much about how these children go on with life as figuring out a mistery. I didn't mind that much since it was still an interesting story but the ending was really lackluster and left me unsatisfied. I will pick up the next one though since the idea behind this story was really cool and you fly through them anyway. I hope it tells me more about the special worlds or the kids themselves.
The Goddess Inheritance by Aimée Carter

The ending was a good conclusion to the series, but the start and middle didnt do it for me. I feel like the writer is just filling a book with stuff which isn't really necessary for the series. Story could also have been told in two books.
