The story jumped from past to present quite a lot which hindered the flow of the story.
I didn't really engage with any of the characters and the ending felt rushed and abrupt.
I won't be reading any others in the series

Molly is a maid at the Regency Grand Hotel. She prides herself on cleaning a room to perfection.
When she enters Suite 401 and finds a dead body, her world changes dramatically as she finds herself the chief suspect.
A really enjoyable murder mystery with an unlikely heroine.

Once again, Kate Atkinson has produced a web of characters that engage and intrigue the reader, making the story a pleasure to read.

As always, there are numerous characters in the story with Nellie Coker and her Soho club empire at the centre of everything.
A brilliant story of gangsters, dancing girls, ambition and betrayal.

I thought Bea was an unlikeable character, the plot lines were questionable, and the reactions and handling of serious incidents made for unpleasant reading.
This book is marketed as a cozy mystery, which it most certainly isn't.
