A mysterious and self discovery rollercoaster perfectly describes this book. The metaphorical writing pulls you into the story.

I love when a book title matches the content within the book.

This book shows how lone women band together to try to get away from what is haunting them or seemly haunting them. The story and the dedication to life from the characters is something that will always sit with me.

Wow. She did it again. This is an author that I am so sad I found after her death. This whole series means so much to me. The last chapter of this book has to be in my top five of endings. This was an excellent and important way to end a book. Showing that ignorance does not have to linger, once you know the information, it is on you to fight back! Fight back for others.

What a great dark spin on that swan movie I watched awhile back. This is cautionary tale of what will you for your passion and how far will you go to maintain it.

There are some stories that I really enjoyed. The story about the children who were waiting on their mother during a war like situation reminded me of Palestinians today and it was emotional for me to read. The story about about ghost ships felt like a story about determination. The story about the girl who wanted to be more and watching her mom have kid after kid triggered me. I remember being anger on the expectation on older siblings to raise younger children. The story about lost of time and eluding to mental health concerns broke my heart.

He did it again! I mean Uncle Rick! You truly crack me up. When Rick recreated an app (tinder) for satyrs and the constant way he informed the reader that ADHD and dyslexia really impacts executive functioning. I just loved the humor and how we got back into this world. I can’t wait for book two and three because this was just what I needed right now. I started today and I finished reading this book today.
