I will keep this brief. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I loved it! Can’t wait until the next one! 5 stars

I really do not like writing reviews for books that I feel are lower than 3 stars.
With that said, I wanted to see what the hype was behind this book. Going in I was blind, and was really enjoying the "Where the Crawdads Sing" vibe I was getting. But I feel like this book never picked up the way I thought it should. It wasn't that the plot/problem was boring, it was the fact that it took so long to get to it and get through it. I guess I could say that this book is a super slow burn. And for readers like me, who like to get into action/drama/climatic activities early, I don't think this was it.
Good story and, a decent book, it was just too slow for me. 2 stars

Butcher && Blackbird

This book has been on my TBR for some time now lol. I’m actually glad that I held out till now to read/listen to it. The IF hangover is real!! But this book was the perfect cure (my opinion). The audio version was great! It was so entertaining.
If for some reason you haven’t read this book yet, hurry 2023 is almost over! You need this book in your life!

Somebody’s Wife by Robbi Renee, GIRL! This was an unexpected read for me. Unexpected in the sense that it wasn’t a planned read and I didn’t expect it to be this good!! I saw a fellow group member talking about how good this book was on Facebook, so I had to check it out. After I finish this review I’m gonna go thank her.

I really enjoyed this book. I was interested from the very beginning and now that I’m done I lowkey wish there was more lol. Jenna/Jules reminds me a lot of myself in some ways so it was very easy to relate to her (getting married young, being a young mother). Ezekiel was like the perfect cup of hot chocolate on rainy day (it doesn’t snow on Oahu lol).

Obviously in real life I would have some issues with the whole cheating thing (duh). But this is fiction and it was so damn good. I was literally yelling at Jules to do “bad” things when faced with decisions to make. We all know what temptation is like and that often times doing the right thing isn’t always fun or feel good lol. I feel like the author made me feel comfortable in siding with Jules when she did certain things… or maybe it’s just me lol.
Anyway.
Great book
I’d read more from this author… for sure
Definitely recommend!

Read it!

Ask for Andrea was good! I enjoyed the fact it had multiple povs bonus from the “particular” pov that the story is being told from. This book definitely had attention from the beginning.
It’s kinda hard to talk about this book without spoilers
