My first fantasy read and it will forever be in my heart. Shelby did a great job writing this book, every scene in the book felt real and raw ! I absolutely love this book. It was rather easy for me to connect and feel the characters emotions. Every page made me want more and more, the book has truly opened my eyes and has developed my love for Fantasy.

Cinder was well written but very hard for me to enjoy completely.. so after careful consideration I will not continue the series for it is just not my cup of tea .

Xiomara a misunderstood teenage girl from Harlem faces many challenges in her life and expresses herself through her love and passion for poetry. Xiomara finds herself caught up with boys and questioning her faith with her religion. The one thing that makes Xiomara feel like herself is something she has to hide from the outside world. Elizabeth Acevedo uses her words to tell Xiomara’s story while also addressing the double standards set against women in underlying messages throughout the novel. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book, I related really well to Xiomara because I also share a love and passion for poetry.

Jenny Han ! What can I say this is my favorite movie and definitely my favorite contemporary young adult romance. There was nothing I didn’t love about this book. There will never be a fake boyfriend romance I love more than Lara Jean & Peter K. The book starts off when Kitty, Lara Jean kid sister discovers letter addressed but not stamped. Kitty takes it upon herself to mail out the letters which results into drama with Lara Jean, her older sister, and the boy next door. In comes Peter K and Lara Jean’s remarkable plan to fake a relationship in order to keep the boy next door away from Lara Jean and to make Peter K’s uptight girlfriend jealous.

This is my favorite book so far of the series! I’m kind of mad I took a break from reading it to read something else.. Harry, Ron , and Herimone are really awesome they always find a way even when they way may be impossible to find.

This book had an amazing plot I love the suspense all the way through, however I gave it 3.5 stars because I tried to read this twice before successfully finishing with the audio version. I’m glad I decided to stay committed to reading it because it was very suspenseful and enjoyable.
