Loved it. A great speculative fiction look at feminism.

It’s been a long time since I have loved a book the way I loved this book. I took my time with it, not wanting it to end. I laughed, cried, raged, and rejoiced. I feel inspired and empowered as I reflect on the storyline.
The side characters were masterfully written, and I wish the dog could win an award for best side character ever written.
Elizabeth Zott, although fictional, is completely inspiring.
This book was perfection for me. Will be recommending.

I really enjoyed the subtleties of this book. Like how the wife uses everyone’s name, but then her friend and her husband never even mention her name because she is “wife” and “friend”.
I think it says a lot about friendships and relationships and our expectations of them.
But I didn’t love the writing style, there isn’t anything wrong with some quotations marks for an easier reading dialogue.
