I loved Liam's pov and the whole set up of the mystery was fun. There's just nothing like some good rich people drama. Unfortunately, the fmc Kat annoyed me so much that it ruined the book for me. Especially because we basically exclusively got her pov at the end. She made obviously bad decisions over and over again. She couldn't seem to understand how fucked up her relationship with her mom. I hated how she felt entitled to make decisions for her own mother all the time. This maybe would've been a 4 star read if we had gotten more Liam and if Kat had acted less stupid. Also the mystery felt way to convoluted at the end. The author just tried to involve any character that was ever mentioned in the book to the point where it just felt ridiculous. So sad to be disappointed by a book with such a cool premise and such a fun mmc.
