5 stars. Another welcome addition to the cozy genre, this time about a mysterious clinic for the soul, whose door only opens if you want to find it. The doctor and the nurse running the clinic will prescribe you a cat - each of the stories in this collection introduces us to a unique new protagonist and lovable cats who cause chaos and joy in equal parts.

Tender and reflective, a through line begins to emerge about halfway through the novel, tying together the story behind the clinic. I deeply enjoyed this collection of stories and especially loved watching the world fall into place with each character, human or feline, I met along the way.
