Be Sweet by Diann Hunt

This was a light and funny book to read. I laughed and enjoyed so much that I gave to a friend to enjoy. It was a pleasant book about family and love.

I was given this book and was happy it kept me interested. She went into great detail about the characters and their lives, but the ending was a bit short. I will read more of her books she did a great job.
The Bitter Season by Tami Hoag

Very well written and kept you interested the whole time. I haven't read her books before, but that will now change. She's able to keep your interest and it doesn't get boring.
Walk Into the Night by Beverly Bird

Not something I normally read, but it was written well and kept my interest.
When Autumn Leaves: A Novel by Amy S. Foster

This was a good read for October. I liked it. Some characters needed more of an introduction and some others needed to have their story finished. I liked the pace of the story though it was a quick read. The last bit of the book finally made it a real story you could love, but the struggles in the beginning to build and connect a story with enough character details were painfully obvious.
Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman

I liked the book better, because it gave far more insight to the lives of the Owens family and the kids. The movie was good, but the book was butchered to make it. So many things were changed and only a few basics of the book remained in the movie. It was a fun read for October and I was pleasantly surprised by it.
Ghost Hunt: Chilling Tales of the Search for the Unknown by Jason Hawes

It was a very quick and easy read. The stories are fun and interesting. Many parts of the book were funny and the stories are fun to share with kids around a campfire. Nice to read for the month of October/Halloween (which is what I did).
The Pull of the Moon by Elizabeth Berg

Well don't we all think about running away in our lives? At least Nan had the money to do so. So often I think most people feel the way she did. It's a nice little story and shows that we all need to feel loved and important.
